                         Summary
Naomi,Wolf.’Ending India’s Rape Culture’. Al Jazeera. December 31,2012. http://www.project-syndicate.org/commentary/ending-india-s-rape-culture-by-naomi-wolf
Naomi Wolf talks about the high rape problem that is taking aver in India. There are many people who want the government to change the laws so that the people who do these crimes are put into jail. Naomi talks to people in the government and some men and women. The government officials continue to emphasize the need for "safety and security" of women. A lady named Krishnan say that the word "safety" means that they behave themselves. get back into the house, and that they should dress in a particular way. I took offense to this because just because a woman dress a certain way does not mean that should gave anyone the right to rape her and its okay to do so.
                                           Analysis

I agree with the Indians who say that enough is enough, and the government should ensure women's security and stop treating rapist with impunity. I do believe that she should have written the story in a different way, by putting more emphasis on certain things and not pack everything into big paragraphs. This story is important so that people all around the world can see what is going on in India and possibly try and find a way to stop it. If they stop putting the blame on the way that some women dress and on the men who are raping them, then the streets will be safer for the women to roam and the men will be put in jail for their crime. I think that the government should stop treating the rapist with impunity and start putting them in jail for the filthy crime. They should also stop putting the blame on women and saying that there clothing invites rape. I think that Naomi Wolf should have included some of the things that women have roamed the streets feel about the rape issue and maybe also those who have been raped. By adding this it would bring an even more personal feel to the story. I think that the main audience would be women just because this is a sensitive spot for women, but I also think that some men, such as fathers, would be an audience for this story. The fathers would have a connection to the story because they would think of there daughters in this situation. Naomi Wolf does have more of a one sided story because she doesn't have more women statements in the story.
